Creative Industries
The University Of Bolton is committed to supporting the development of the creative industries sector. Over the past five years a dedicated team has established a strong working relationship with industry professionals, forged links with professional bodies and has developed outstanding programmes and facilities that have helped grow regional and national creative businesses.
We offer a range of services to help creative businesses and individuals grow in this fast and often competitive sector. This includes access to facilities including rapid prototyping, the Usability Lab for game and website analysis and services from our Media Production Company.
We also offer professional development short courses and postgraduate degrees in areas such as Digital Image & Media, Public Art and Documentary Photography.
And we offer the opportunity to meet like minded individuals through our ‘Audience With’ events and networking sessions.
The University also takes great pride in ensuring our undergraduate provision is inline with industry practice, offering professional work experience to students. We bring professional excellence into the University, offering industry the opportunity to comment on the design of courses, set live project briefs and exhibition opportunities.
